America’s Card Room Purchases Doyle’s Poker Room

According to a recent announcement, Doyle’s Room, an online poker gaming site launched in 2004 by professional poker player Doyle Brunson has been purchased for an undisclosed amount by Americas Card Room (ACR).

Speaking on the purchase, an ACR spokesperson said that ACR is excited about the acquisition of the online poker room, which has led to the expansion of its brand. The spokesperson also said that the company is an attractive acquisition because of its recent success with US online poker players as well as its latest software.

America’s Card Room, which was established in 2001, soon gained the reputation as one of the best online poker rooms during those years. In 2006, the online poker room quit the US online poker market, particular because of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), which was passed that same year. Last month, it appeared again and began welcoming US online poker players to its online poker gaming services.

Americas Card Room is part of the Yatahay Network, an online poker gaming network that Doyle’s Room had joined just before its acquisition by Americas Card Room. Yatahay Network, though little known, is well on the way to becoming one of the most popular online poker networks in the industry.

The acquisition simply means that the players of Doyle’s Network now have a brand new home—Americas Card Room. Since both online poker services belong to the Yatahay Network, players will not notice any change in their online poker gaming experience. They can continue playing with the same user names and passwords. However, the brand name Doyle’s Room will no longer exist.

Explaining the situation further, a representative of Americas Card Room said that all the players and affiliates of Doyle’s Room need not worry about their online poker gaming accounts because they will be kept safe and secure and that Americas Card Room will act as per the existing agreements of Doyle’s Room. Since the business operations will become more liquid in nature, players can expect larger guaranteed jackpots, lucrative promotions, and better reasons to be part of the online poker gaming community at Americas Card Room.

Players will not notice any drastic changes in the daily operation of the online poker room, and all existing affiliate agreements and promotions such as the $50k Rake Race of October will continue as usual. The acquisition has transferred rights to affiliate and player data base, player liability, staff, and software to the Americas Card Room.

Players can also look forward to the $65k Rake Race, which will be launched by America’s Card Room in November. The online poker room will also launch a series titled America’s Card Room Online Super Series (ACROSS) as well as an exciting loyalty scheme for its players.

The Yahatay Network is among the safest online poker networks offering poker gaming services to US poker players, the others being Everleaf Gaming, Cake Poker, and Bodog. Although Merge continues offering online poker services to existing US players, it doesn’t welcome new players.
