Sameer Bhalla Wins Party Poker $50k Guaranteed
Poker player Sameer Bhalla won the Party Poker $50,000 Guaranteed tournament, which was held on Feb 23, Sunday. He beat a field of 300 players to win a prize of $5,760.
Sharing his experiences, Bhalla said: “I’ve played tournaments at the Borgata before and began playing on Party Poker back in December. But this was my first time playing the $50k Guaranteed and I’m thrilled I was able to take home the top prize.”
Bhalla now plans to take part in the $100k Guaranteed tournament and satellite qualifiers to the WPT World Championship, which is scheduled to be held in April. He said: “I will definitely be playing this Sunday and in the upcoming WPT Championship satellites. Partypoker has a great variety of games and excellent software. I played on partypoker many years ago and the entire experience, while updated and fresh, feels very familiar. Many of my friends are now playing on partypoker since my victory.”
New Jersey online poker players are getting more and more excited now that the $100k Guaranteed Sunday Major Tournament, which will be held on Party Poker, is just round the corner. The event will be held on March 2 at 5:00 p.m. EST. The event, which has a buy-in of $200, will be the biggest guaranteed poker tournament at Party Poker New Jersey and will be held instead of the $50k Sunday Major for one day.
New Jersey poker players can either qualify for the event by taking part in qualifier satellites or buy-in directly to the event. Party Poker is currently running satellites to the event and the buy-ins to these qualifiers range from $1 to $50. The $5 buy-in mega satellite will be held at 15:30 ET on Sunday and five players will win free entries to the $100k Sunday Major.
