Zet Poker Suspends Operations Temporarily

Zet Poker, one of the less known online poker rooms on the Lock-owned Revolution Gaming Network, has suspended its operations temporarily because of what it calls non-payment of player dues from the network.

Previously known as ZetPoker.EU, Zet Poker has announced on its official website that it is currently “pursuing all avenues to secure the timely receipt of players [sic] payments.” The online poker room has also promised its customers that it will keep them updated.

The owner and operator of Zet Poker is BTG Gaming, a gambling company based in Curacao. The online gambling company, which focuses mainly on online sports betting services and software, has a number of clients such as WagerUp.EU, VIP Sports.EU, Pure Poker, Sportsbook.CA, Betting Champs, Neverfelted.EU, Daily Dime, Latino Poker, Dime Line, LinesMaker.EU. All these above-mentioned brands, including those that are on the Revolution Gaming Network, are still functional.

Zet Poker has announced that it has temporarily suspended its operations because “Zetpoker.com has not received any player settlement payments from the network/operator for some time.”

The “settlement payments” Zet Poker is referring to are monetary transactions taking place between the online poker network and its various skins based on players’ winning and losing money playing poker. Every calendar month, skins pay their network an amount equal to that lost by players. The network then has to pay these losses to other skins where the losing players have registered accounts.

It may be recalled that Adam Eve Poker, another skin on Revolution Gaming Network, had suspended player payments in March on grounds that it has not received settlement payments from its network. The online poker room published a notice on its official website, claiming that payment delays on the part of Revolution Gaming have forced it to suspend player withdrawals. The online poker room continued to run online poker games, but the operators of Adam Eve Poker had plans to segregate its players from the network player pool.

While promising players that it will pay them, Adam Eve Poker said: “We assure everybody who will be affected by this very uneasy decision that all poker related withdrawals will be processed as soon as network covers all due settlements with AdamevePoker.” Shortly before announcing suspension of player withdrawals, Adam Eve Poker had publicly criticized the network for its failure to reconcile payments to its skins.

Revolution Gaming Network, a US friendly online poker network, has been inviting criticism of late because of its failure to pay its US as well as international online poker customers. As a result, professional poker players at various skins have withdrawn their support and banners advertising Revolution Gaming Network skins have been removed.
