PokerStars Unveils Mobile Poker for the UK
PokerStars, one of the most popular online poker rooms on the internet, recently announced that they had improved their gaming offerings for players in the United Kingdom.
Players from the UK (with the exception Northern Ireland) and the Isle of Man, are sure to be pleased with the latest development in PokerStars’ mobile poker offerings.
PokerStars, often described as the world’s largest online poker site, has now made available a mobile poker platform for players from the UK. The newly announced mobile application from PokerStars for UK players packs almost all the features that desktop players have enjoyed for so long at the popular site.
Designed to be compatible with the iPhone, iPod, iPad and devices that run on the Android operating system, the application unchains the avid poker player from his table and allows him or her to carry the passion for gaming to just about anywhere. UK Poker players who enjoy the poker games, tournaments, easy deposit and withdrawal procedures, security and great customer support that is available at the PokerStars site will no longer have to miss out on this gaming experience while on the move.
There are real money and play money options. The poker variants available on the application are Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo in fixed limit, pot limit and no limit versions. Players can opt to play at multiple tables if they so choose.
There are certain nifty user friendly features to help players manage multiple tables while playing on the go. The special display shows the player’s hole cards for each of the tables that he is playing at and the relevant cards are highlighted when it is his or her turn to play at another table. One has to simply touch the highlighted cards to display that table.

It would also be worth keeping in mind that answering a phone call while playing entails sitting out and that if you do not return in 25 seconds you will be disconnected from the site.
