Party Poker Releases $14K WSOP 2012 Packages
The 2012 World Series of Poker is just around the corner and poker players who are hoping to be a part of this world renowned tournament will now have the opportunity to do so with the help of Party Poker.
The Party Poker site recently made an announcement that it was offering a $14k prize package for the final table at the main event of the 2012 World Series of Poker much to the delight of WSOP enthusiasts.
This year, Party Poker has designed a set of freerolls, qualifiers and prizes to help take players right to final of the 2012 World Series of Poker. The $14k prize package covers both the buy-in and trip expenses for the entire 10 day stay that the final table players will be required to make in Las Vegas.
The WSOP 2012 final event will be held in Las Vegas and the winner of the $1k package from Party Poker will get $2000 to cover their 10 day stay in Vegas. The winner will also get $2000 extra that they can spend while in the city on seeing the sights and visiting different amusements. The remaining $10k will go directly towards the buy-in for the main event of the WSOP 2012.
Party Poker has more than one qualifier available and players will be able to make use of daily freerolls that have been set up to work into qualifier tournaments and eventually the $14k World Series of Poker prize competition.
The qualifiers and freerolls to the World Series of Poker 2012 have already begun and players are encouraged not to waste the opportunity to try their hand at winning a place at the WSOP.
The Daily Freeroll begins the entire World Series of Poker package and allows any real money poker player registered with the Party Poker site an opportunity to make it as far as the WSOP 2012 without spending much of their own money. After this, there is also the Daily Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy event with $2 buy-ins and then the $4 Daily Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy. Players can also try the $9 Daily Sub Qualifier Speed. The finalists from all these daily events will then be moved into a Daily Satellite Qualifier with a buy-in at $80 ($75 + $5) and the lucky winners of this daily event will then have to wait for the weekly Sunday $700+$50 Satellite.
The first 20 players will then compete in another satellite event and the first place winner will be awarded the $14K 2012 WSOP package.
Last year’s winner of the World Series of Poker was Pius Heinz who took home an amazing poker pot worth $8.7 million and change in winnings. He also holds the title of WSOP Champion.
