Party Poker Runs Aussie Million Satellite Qualifiers

Though not the world’s biggest online poker room, Party Poker is offering something that players simply won’t be able to resist—an opportunity to qualify for the prestigious Aussie Million event, which is scheduled to be held in January. However, players who want to participate in the biggest tournament in the online poker gaming world for just $1 must head over to PokerStars, the world’s biggest online poker room. PokerStars is trying to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by running an online poker tournament with a buy-in of $1 on Dec 4. A huge crowd of 150,000 poker players are expected to participate in the event.

Poker players who aren’t busy trying to win the prize package to Aussie Millions at Party Poker can log into their PokerStars accounts at 12:30 EST to play PokerStars World Record tournament, which is expected to drag on for several long hours because of the large field.

Party Poker, although the world’s second largest online poker room, is very generous with its bonuses and prize pool, and ambitious poker players can easily grab a free seat to the Aussie Millions if they are talented enough and really long for the poker fame and wealth. The buy-in for the Aussie Millions Main Event is a breathtakingly large $11,400.

The Party Poker Aussie Million prize package includes accommodation for 8 nights at Hotel Crown Promenade, which is close to the Aussie Millions venue, the Crown Casino plus spending money worth $2,500. The qualifiers have already commenced, and interested players can qualify absolutely free of charge.

Party Poker is running freeroll qualifiers for the benefit of those with a slim bankroll. The top 25 players of each freeroll will receive a free seat to a Sub Qualifier $2 Rebuy tournament. Since one player will gain entry to the next level for every $74 that is in the jackpot, one of 10 players will gain entry into the Satellite Qualifier. Once players reach this level, one out of every 25 players will win the Aussie Million prize package worth $16,000. Another way to qualify is to participate in the Daily $250 Freeroll, which is run at 11:00 p.m.

The good news for poker players who are still mourning the death of Full Tilt Poker is that there are plenty of excellent online poker sites such as Party Poker, PokerStars, Cake Poker, and others that offer exciting tournaments and qualifier satellites to prestigious live poker events.

Interested poker players who, for some reason, cannot qualify for the Aussie Millions at Party Poker can try doing the same at Cake Poker because Cake Poker is also giving away Aussie Million prize packages. Instead, if players are looking for large bonuses, they can head over to Coral, which is offering a large sign-up bonus of as much as $1,900.

In the meantime, poker players will find plenty of video tutorials on YouTube if they want to learn the game. Phil Hellmuth, better known as the Poker Brat, posted a video tutorial on YouTube just last week.
