Full Tilt Poker Dropped By Hendon Mob

If the recent news reports are to be believed, the Full Tilt Poker site is going down and may not come back on top.

At one point of time, Full Tilt Poker was one of the biggest online poker sites in the industry enjoying the cream of poker player traffic from all over the US. However, when struck by Black Friday, the FTP site sank like the Titanic and now seems to be heading for rock bottom with no sign of resurfacing.

Prominent poker groups are gradually cutting ties with the Full Tilt Poker site and the latest development is that the Hendon Mob has dropped FTP. The Hendon Mob was one of the most prominent poker sites attached and affiliated with FTP. However, after it became apparent that the Full Tilt Poker site was not able to pay back its players the money from their own accounts this poker site decided to step away from FTP.

The Hendon Mob does not seem to like the approach that the FTP site has taken towards its players, considering that they are yet to issue any statement as to if and when players could expect their money back. The affiliate site feels sympathetic towards players who have their funds caught up in their FTP accounts, especially for those players who signed up at the website using links from the Hendon Mob website, which at one point was a very strong promoter of both the site and its professional poker players.

However, in a rather diplomatic and classy manoeuvre, the affiliate site has chosen not to call out the Full Tilt Poker site on its debts and has just expressed their sympathies for players while cutting ties with the site.

In their statement, the affiliate site authorities also expressed their concern for players who had poker game tickets, FTP points and other investments tied up with the site. The Hendon Mob also stated that the cutting off ties with the Full Tilt Poker site was a business decision and not a moral one. The site claimed that they were running a loss by promoting FTP and wanted to cut ties as the losses were not sustainable.

The Hendon Mob believes that by ending their affiliate relationship with FTP, they will be able to move on to better business opportunities. The Hendon Mob has been one of the sites biggest supporters and has been responsible for driving a lot of player traffic to the Full Tilt Poker site over the past few years. It has not only featured articles on prominent poker players tied to the FTP site, but has also kept players updated with news about poker tourneys and games hosted at the site. The withdrawal of the affiliate site will be strong blow to the FTP site, which already in its death throes.

As fart as Full Tilt Poker’s hearing with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), the results are not yet known. Many believe that the site will not get its license back and will probably have to shut down completely, although there is no proof to back this theory.
