Jonathan Little to Present Live Webinars on Playing Poker
Card Player in partnership with poker pro Jonathan Little is going to provide free poker training in the form of live webinars, to those who aspire to become great poker players. Little has won the World Poker Tour (WPT) Main Event twice and has agreed to present a series of live webinars on how to play poker successfully.
Thanks to this agreement, Little’s latest poker training webinars titled “5 Concepts You Must Master to Win at Poker Tournaments” is now available free of charge to Card Player members. The price of this webinar is $97, but it is available free of charge to all the subscribers of Card Player. Poker beginners will be delighted to learn from Jonathan Little, twice WPT champion and WPT Player of the Year for Season VI. So far, he has won more than $6 million playing live poker tournaments alone.
A brief summary of the free webinar, which lasts for 2 hours, is as follows. Jonathan talks about what poker players must do when they have chip stacks of varying sizes and how they must adjust their gaming style as the size of their chip stack changes.
In the webinar, Jonathan also talks about pot control. Players can learn about how exactly they can control pot size when they have a good poker hand, but a slightly vulnerable one without risking their entire stack of chips. The poker pro also reveals secrets of what hands players should shove from late and early table positions.
A part of the webinar also deals with how to stay out of trouble and avoid situations in which most amateur poker player just fold and leave the table. Variance is also one of the topics discussed in the webinar.
Jonathan will be presenting several live webinars over the following months, but these won’t be free of charge. Jonathan Little, who was born in Florida on Dec 22, is the winner of Foxwoods World Poker Finals Season VII and WPT Season VI Mirage Poker Showdown. He has also bagged the WPT Season VI Player of the Year Award. He began playing poker when he was studying psychology in the University of West Florida.
As the days passed, his passion for poker grew, leading him to read several poker books written by top poker pros. One of the books he read was David Sklansky’s The Theory of Poker. He quit college and became a professional poker player after earning a bankroll of $35,000 during a six-month period.
