Full Flush Poker Launched on Equity Poker Network

The first online poker room on the Equity Poker Network (EPN), called Full Flush Poker, has been launched. EPN, “the world’s only cooperative poker network,” is a non-profit online poker network, which was launched a few days back with Full Flush Poker as its first skin. Although the network currently offers only play money games, it claims that it will start offering real money poker games soon.

Full Flush Poker offers only play money poker games at present, along with a Sunday $500 freeroll, but the online poker room has plans to accept poker players from all over the world, including the US, for real money poker play at the earliest possible. The online poker room has been granted an interactive gaming license in Curacao.

Initially, players suspected that the online poker room had some association with poker pro Luke Schwartz, who plays under the moniker _FullFlush1_. However, the online poker room has nothing to do with Schwartz.

Back in March, the poker media carried reports of EPN as the first cooperative, non-profit online poker network in the world. The network will not accept a share of skin revenue, but will redistribute it among all the operators. One of the major features of the network is the “shark tax,” which will be used as a reward for skins that attract new real money players. The network also has a facility called “clearing house,” which will make sure that adequate funds will always be available for reconciliation payments across operators.

Initially, EPN had announced that it would launch in June with five skins. At this time, EPN founder Clive Archer told Pokerfuse: “[The network] operates on the basis of a fixed fee of $10,000 per month and this is used to pay for the operation of the network. The cooperative means that the members of the network make up the management committee which runs the network with voting power based on what volume they have of the network’s business.”

EPN’s latest press statement says that its operators are “afforded a level of autonomy to configure their own tournaments and promotions, and to allocate rewards, bonuses, and even rakeback,” up to 50 percent.

The press release further claims that “the number of well-established, licensed operators already signed on to become part of EPN is a testament to the early success.” However, the release did not reveal further details on how many other operators had expressed interest in joining EPN. The network has also not stated when its skins will start offering real money poker.

EPN runs on the same online poker software platform as Chico Poker Network—PlaySafe Holding AS.

EPN founder Archer had worked as the chief executive officer of BetOnline and the COO of Action Poker Network, which was later rebranded as Chico Poker Network and continues to operate today with skins such as PayNoRake, Action Poker, and TigerGaming, to mention just a few. Player traffic to Chick Poker Network has been rising steadily during the past three months, but the network is hardly popular in the international market.
